THE ISSUE

THE SOLUTION

THE SOLUTION

In the USA, 3.5 million kids under 14 miss out on school sports each year due to physical disabilities, genetic disorders, or chronic health conditions. These children are also 400% more likely to experience social isolation, depression, and lower academic performance when excluded from physical activity, and only 1 in 10 schools offer inclusive sports programs. For these kids, the field, court, or track isn’t just a place to play, it’s a barrier they can’t cross. Not because they lack talent or passion, but because the system lacks accessible solutions.

THE SOLUTION

THE SOLUTION

THE SOLUTION

Breakthroughs in sports medicine and orthopedics — like prosthetics, bionics, artificial limbs, and stem cell or CAR-T therapies, are giving children with physical challenges the tools to move, play, and thrive. These innovations don’t just treat symptoms; they offer long-term solutions that restore ability and independence. Even more importantly, research helps democratize access, making advanced treatments more affordable and available to all kids, not just a privileged few.

THE MISSION

Founded in 2021 by Rakshith Srinivasan, Unlimited Potential has grown into a student-led movement with hundreds of volunteers and grassroots donors, raising over $10,000 for cutting-edge research in sports medicine. UP has built a network of advisors, doctors, and researchers, who mentor volunteers in research selection, campaign strategy, donor outreach, and connections to medical institutions. With their guidance, UP has helped support major hospitals and programs like Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington
